The Southern Skirmish Society are a registered charity in England and Wales, registration 282888.

Our aim is to educate, raise public awareness and interest in what was the first ‘modern’ war. The American Civil War had a profound impact on not only the United States of America but also on Europe and the rest of the world.

As a not for profit we rely on our modest membership fees and donations to continue educating the public through reenactment and living history. If you feel you are able to make a donation this would be very gratefully received.
